Frequently asked questions

Are my subtitles uploaded?

File reading, time calculations, preview, and download all happen in this browser. Your subtitles stay on your device.

Why can't I move my subtitles any earlier?

The earliest cue cannot start before zero. Reduce the shift to the maximum shown in the error message or less.

What if subtitles drift further out of sync as the video plays?

This tool applies the same time shift to every cue. A growing timing difference requires a separate adjustment for playback speed or frame rate.
